Mark M. Layne

Mark has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1985. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a B.S. in Business Administration. He went on to receive his Masters of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee in 1984.

He began his career as a CPA with the Memphis, Tennessee office of Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells. He left Deloitte in 1990 to join Crain & Company, a certified public accounting firm in Jackson, Tennessee. He became managing partner in 1997 and managed the firm until his departure in 2004.

During Layne's 20-year career in public accounting, his focus was the real estate industry. He continues in the role by providing consulting services primarily for the real estate industry.

He joined McNeill Investment Company in 2004. His focus is development and sales.
